Head Coach Stan Bergman

Stan Bergman took the reigns of the Centennial volleyball program in the fall of 1999. He is currently a 6th grade teacher, coach, and athletic director at Jefferson Middle School. Bergman has degrees from the University of Illinois, Illinois State, and Parkland. His volleyball resume includes 9 years of coaching at Rantoul High School and extensive club volleyball involvement.

During his eleven seasons at Centennial, the Chargers are 295-113-4 with 2 Sectional and 8 Regional Titles.
   
Judd

Junior Varsity Coach Judd VanAntwerp

Judd is beginning his first year (2010) as JV Coach and second year on the coaching staff, but is not a stranger to the Charger bench. Judd was involved with the team as a student before his 2009 graduation and returned as Assistant Varsity Coach in fall of 2009, a season in which varsity won a Sectional Championship and finished with a 34-6 record.

Judd is currently attending the University of Illinois and Parkland College in pursuit of a degree in communications.

   

Freshman Coach Lindsay Hewitt

Lindsay joined the Chargers in 2009 leading the Freshman to a 30-3 record. She also coached at Urbana High School, as JV Coach in 2007. Lindsay, attended high school in Gibson City, graduating in 2005, and possesses degrees from Parkland College and Milliken University in Education.
